Save your Voice

Protect the tool of your trade – YOUR Voice! Our voice preservation and effectiveness training has been able to reduce sick leave due to vocal damage by 30%!

How we can help

Throughout our careers we spend countless hours attending annual and regular training that focuses on how to prevent workplace injuries. Like, how to stand, how to sit and how to move things around without damaging our backs. While vocal damage and voice related injuries is listed on the workers compensation form as an option to claim, professionals are not adequately trained on how to prevent vocal damage.

This poses an immense amount of risk not only to staff, but to the business as nodules form on our vocal cords which often leads to surgery and rehabilitation, costing both employees and business thousands of dollars each year.

Slight changes in our voice is a key indicator that we are doing something wrong. Something as simple as having to clear your throat often or having a hoarse and croaky voice could be signs thereof.

Here at Edge Creatives we strive to teach professionals across Australia and New Zealand how to use their voice effectively and without causing harm to their vocal cords. This in turn, saves employers and employees the stress of having to plan and set work, contract replacement staff, as well as the financial burdens that accompany these. Funding rehabilitation, paperwork, claims, medications and even possible surgery, can have major impacts on budgets let alone the mental health and well-being of all those involved.

We offer various packages that can be tailored to our clients needs, we will even come to you if required.

It is time to value our voice, the forgotten tool of our trade, and to insist that it become part of our WHS training.
