Kath McBride-Hellewell
Director, producer, teacher, actor, vocal coach, singer, event co-ordinator, community builder, mentor and advocator of the arts for all. Kath has taught the art and science of voice preservation to QUT lecturers and preservice teachers, presenters from the Street Science team, actors, teachers, C&K educators, librarians and more. As a highly motivated leader, producer and director with over 25 years of teaching experience, Kath has been Head of Arts, Health & Physical Education, Pastoral Leader and Cultural Leader specialising in initiatives, strategic policy, personal development and creating opportunities for all under the banner of education.
Kath is a passionate educator, and founding Director of Edge Creatives. Kath’s love of the expressive arts as a powerful tool to expand, explore and create, is the driving force behind her educating style and experience. She is a powerhouse of knowledge and passion dedicated to supporting young people and educators alike. Kath’s students love her vibrant energy and use of imagination in her workshops. They love working with her.
